MONTREAUX

In 2026 we will establish our own diamond polishing company in Montreux, using latest technology and highly skilled professional handwork. Subsequently we will have our own design jewellery making in Canton de Vaud

OUR WORK

Our strategic priorities are designed to achieve breakthroughs in critical areas for the mining and diamond industry, including environmental resilience, social performance, governance and transparency, and innovation for sustainability.
For each issue, we aim to establish and adopt best practice principles that eliminate barriers to creating a safe, just, and sustainable world, supported by responsibly produced diamonds.

DIAMONDS

Rough diamonds are nature’s rarest creation, a unique form of pure carbon. Most scientists believe
that diamonds are formed as deep as 200 km underground, where temperatures reach 1300 degrees
Celsius, and the pressure is immense

Diamond cutting and polishing is the process of transforming a rough diamond into a brilliant Automated laser cutting and shaping system for diamonds. Rough diamonds can be transformed into brilliant cut diamonds with up to 57 facets in a single process.

LASER

A Simple Principle

The Laser MicroJet (LMJ) is a hybrid method of machining, which combines a laser with a
”hair-thin” water jet that precisely guides the laser beam by means of total internal
reflection in a manner similar to conventional optical fibers. The water jet continually cools
the cutting zone and efficiently removes debris.

The Laser MicroJet (LMJ) substantially decreases diamond production time by combining several manufacturing workflows into one machine. The system covers virtually the complete rough-to- polished process. It reduces polishing processes to a final smoothing step.
